FAU Hosts Award Winning Documentary Screening

鶹ýӳ’s Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders in the College of Education recently hosted a movie screening of “,” an award-winning documentary that reveals the profound emotional impact stuttering has on people.

“I am thrilled that the FAU and Boca Raton communities had an opportunity to see this important documentary,” said , interim chair and professor for the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. “There’s a reason why it has won awards at film festivals all over the world. Audiences love it and are fascinated to learn about the mysterious disorder of stuttering.”

The private screening was hosted in partnership with the Boca Raton Chapter of the National Stuttering Association. Following the screening, attendees witnessed a panel discussion that included people who stutter and speech language professionals from the Boca Raton area.
