鈥淚 would like to extend my personal thanks to the Rotary Club of Boca Raton for this generous gift,鈥 said Stacy Volnick, FAU interim vice president for institutional advancement. 鈥淭he Rotary Club鈥檚 support provides essential financial assistance and mentorship opportunities for each of the scholarship recipients, to provide academic and non-academic guidance. The Rotary Club of Boca Raton Scholarship will provide recipients with financial assistance for one academic year, and may be renewed annually. In addition to maintaining a minimum GPA, recipients must have attended high school in Palm Beach County, demonstrate a strong commitment to community service, and participate in the Rotary Club鈥檚 mentorship program.
鈥淲e are proud of our association with the 麻豆传媒映画 Foundation and we consider it a privilege to provide mentorship and scholarship funding for worthy FAU students,鈥 said Spencer Siegel, president of the Rotary Club of Boca Raton. 鈥淚 look forward to a long and productive relationship with the school.
