FAU Launches Graduate Neuroscience Training Program

麻豆传媒映画鈥檚 is now accepting applications for its new , which will begin in fall 2018. The new umbrella program allows students to explore the research and training opportunities of three different FAU Ph.D. programs and also includes faculty from the and the .

During the first year, students will rotate between laboratories affiliated with integrative biology, experimental psychology and complex systems and brain sciences Ph.D. programs. Through shared courses, seminars and workshops, students will be exposed to the breadth of neuroscience research while forming connections with faculty and peers that can drive multi-discplinary science.

鈥淣euroscience is on the move at FAU, and this new program offers graduate students a terrific opportunity to take advantage of that momentum,鈥 said , Ph.D., executive director of the FAU Brain Institute.

All students in the program will receive nationally-competitive stipends that include guaranteed research and teaching assistantships, health insurance coverage, relocation support and opportunities for research and travel grants. They also will receive free membership to the Society for Neuroscience to allow them to make connections nationally and internationally with peer trainees and more senior scientists from around the world.
