鶹ýӳ’s  in the  was recently gifted a Frank Lloyd Wright collection of artwork, books and other collectibles – totaling 189 items – by Donald and Elaine Singer.

“My wife and I donated our collection to enhance the research and teaching of architecture at 鶹ýӳ,” said Singer. “Our hope is that it enriches the lives of generations of students and faculty to come.”

Wright was a renowned American architect, interior designer, writer and educator who designed more than 1,100 iconic buildings throughout the United States.

“The Donald and Elaine Singer Collection will be so impactful for the students and faculty in the School of Architecture,” said , dean of the College for Design and Social Inquiry. “We are honored that the Singers have gifted us such a special collection.”

The Donald and Elaine Singer Collection will be housed at FAU’s Fort Lauderdale campus and is available for viewing in the resource room for students and faculty. A portion of the books will be housed in the FAU Libraries’ Rare Books Collection, which will be accessible to FAU’s faculty.
