FAU Celebrates International Education Week
FAU will celebrate International Education Week from Monday, Nov. 16 to Friday, Nov. 20.
International Education Week is sponsored by FAU's International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS).
Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» will celebrate International Education Week with a series of events from Monday, Nov. 16, to Friday, Nov. 20. International Education Week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education that celebrates the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. The events are open to the FAU community unless otherwise noted.
The following events will take place at FAU’s Boca Raton campus, 777 Glades Road:
Movie and faculty-led discussion: ‘Girl Rising’
Monday, Nov. 16 at 6 p.m.
House Chambers, Student Union
Open to public
Take a journey around the world and meet nine ordinary girls who confront tremendous challenges and impossible odds to pursue their dreams and education.
International Karaoke Night
Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m.
Burrow Bar & Grill, Student Union
Sing to the international beat! Participants are asked to send their song requests in advance.
Show Your Flag
Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 11:30 a.m.
Free Speech Lawn
Represent your country, international roots, or global experiences during this interactive event celebrating our cultural identities.
International Education Week Reception
Thursday, Nov. 19 at 4 p.m.
College of Business Atrium
The reception will celebrate international students and scholars at FAU, as well as the tremendous efforts of dedicated faculty and staff.
Marketing Your International Experience
Friday, Nov. 20 at 2 p.m.
Career Development Center Classroom, SU 80/222
